Sales Consultant (Rockville Office)

The Sales Consultant will manage all Broker/Agency activities for the self-insured unit. This individual will focus on maintaining and developing broker relationships and will assist with all sales related activities. This position will have production goals and will participate in the success of the unit.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain broker/agency relationships.
- Meet production goals and broker contact/activity requirements.
- Coordinate RFP requests and responses.
- Qualify opportunities as necessary.
- Coordinate carrier and GBS training of agency staff.
- Communicate new carrier information/policy changes/paperwork requirements, etc.
- Responsible for GBS Access training and fielding all questions regarding the GBS website.
- Meet regularly with brokers to discuss proposal activity and status of prospects.
- Coordinate enrollment materials for enrollment meetings.
- Establish profile for broker licensing/contracting.
- Evaluate broker activity and identify opportunities for joint marketing efforts, prospecting, and partnerships.
- Process New Business as needed.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience related to managed care and health services.
- Sales and Customer Service track record preferred.
- Results oriented.
